Owner & Founder: John Crus
Deeply connected to the natural wonders of the Sierra John Cruz's idea for Green Envy Inc. began with a vision to blend ecological wisdom with the artistry of landscape creation.

Originating from the central coast of California, John Crus relocated to the north Tahoe area in 1996, pursuing a career in ecological sciences. As an ardent surfer and skier, he soon realized the importance of creating a rooted space for community, family, and personal outdoor pursuits. Thus, Green Envy, Inc. was born, initially a modest venture with a handful of employees, one truck, and a trailer.
Green Envy Today
Over time, Green Envy, Inc. has blossomed into a comprehensive landscape construction and maintenance entity, fostering deep connections with local building contractors, architects, engineers, and designers. Our team, now comprising nearly 20 dedicated professionals, operates various vehicles, machinery, and equipment to deliver top-notch services.
